A Real-Life Sad Keanu For Creating Real-Life Memes

Remember the time you had a brilliant idea for a Sad Keanu jpeg, but couldn’t muster the attention needed to learn how to make one in Photoshop?  Yeah, that was sad.  Well, if you’re still looking to further the Sad Keanu meme in 2012, you can now do it sans Photoshop with this Little Sad Keanu figure from Shapeways.

Designed by Neuralfirings, it’s a 3D-printed version of the famous Sad Keanu picture that’s been painted and detailed to look like an exact replica of the cutout image of the classic papparazi snap.  Well, almost exact, since they didn’t manage to add the sandwich he was eating while he was being sad and moody.

With a Little Sad Keanu in tow, you don’t need Photoshop.  Just place the figure anywhere you want to see Sad Keanu and take a picture of it — automatic entry to a two-year old meme.  Yeah, that’s the sad part.  Save for your own personal amusement, Sad Keanu ain’t really buzzing big these days.

The 3D figure is available in two sizes, little and teeny, so you can pair them up with different items in your photographs.  The former measures 1.9 x 4 x 2.1 inches (w x d x h), while the latter sizes in at a tinier 1.3 x 2.7 x 1.4 inches.

Little Sad Keanu and Teeny Sad Keanu cost $45 and $25, respectively.  Now, somebody just needs to make a 3D printed version of the “McKayla Maroney is not impressed” picture to help us keep up with the fresh trends.  Shapeways, do it please.
