What a pleasant surprise from the renowned line of netbooks, the Asus Eee PC. Their desktop version called the Asus Eee Top really made my eyes drool. Though the screen is quite small, and the performance may not be top notch, it looks damn good.
If you wanted to have a cute second PC in your kitchen or wanted to provide your kid’s room one, this is the perfect product for you. With the specs of 1.6GHz Atom CPU, 1GB of RAM and a 160GB hard drive, the Asus Eee Top is a perfect tool for browsing your favorite recipe and for your kid’s research work. The specs can be enough already to accommodate some LAN and online games, especially those of low PC requirements.
The Eee Top weighs around 9 pounds, which made it a very portable one enabling you to place it anywhere you wanted anytime. The Eee Top also has a webcam for you to easily video chat with friends and relatives, an SD/SDHC card reader for and easier file transfer process to and from your electronic devices like digicams, mobile phones, iPhone and iPod. Its pretty touch screen monitor makes the Asus Eee Top an irresistible one. It does look even nicer with its classy design matched with a sleek pair of mouse and keyboard. It also runs Windows XP just like any other PCs.
The only drawback it has is that, it seems like users does not have the ability to customize the product, for included in the package is an Eee-branded applications.
