I personally steer clear of novelty bacon-flavored hygiene products just because they rarely make sense. Bacon perfume, bacon shampoo and bacon soaps don't exactly fill me with excitement -- who wants to walk around smelling like fried pork belly fat from head to toe? We'll make an exception for the J&D Bacon Shaving Cream, though.
For the most part, it makes sense. Bacon is great for breakfast; you shave every morning. Eating a whole bunch of bacon will leave the lower half of your mug covered in grease; shaving cream will leave that freshly-shaved fragrance right on your face. Since your face will smell like bacon with the greasy breakfast you have day after day anyway, no one's the wiser. It's all good.
Designed for all skin types, the J&D Bacon Shaving Cream is an erstwhile regular shaving toiletry that you can use to lather your face before using those blades to clear out your growing stubbles. Except it smells like bacon, which makes things better or worse, depending on your point of view. Features include rich moisturizers and essential oils for a smooth shaving experience, as well as heat-activated aromatic technology, which allows the bacon scent to stay on for hours.
The product page claims it's "best used after a hot shower" (of course) or "before an important date with someone you may want to spend the rest of your life with." Not sure if serious about the last part, but may be a good idea if you date hog farmers or binge eaters or both. I mean, bacon should be like pheromones in those situations, right? Or maybe not.
Ready to be freshly-shaven and reeking of bacon every morning when you walk into the office? Better pick up a J&D Bacon Shaving Cream. It's available now, priced at $14.99.
