Conmoto Travelmate, A Fireplace In A Suitcase

Ever wished you can walk around town carrying a fireplace like a suitcase?  Neither have I.  For some reason, however, this stylish Conmoto Travelmate Portable Fireplace makes me want to.

Clad in briefcase-like 20 x 28 x 8-inch dimensions, the literal fire in a box lets you stay warm whether you’re roaming the cold winter streets or chilling in the attic all by your lonesome.  Just light the fire behind the removable glass window, pick up the container by the handle and off you go, traveling with a full-value heat source right by your side.

The Travelmate Portable Fireplace has a body made from black powder-coated steel, tipping the scales at a respectable 55lbs.  Granted, carrying something that heavy for extended periods won’t be a walk in the park, so it’s probably best you keep this for use within the house (or hire a gorilla to follow you around).  Still, it’s a  fully-functional fireplace that you can quickly set up in the living room, the bedroom, the kitchen, the patio and even in the bathroom in place of candles.

It burns bio-ethanol liquid fuel, which makes for a smokeless fire that can really set a warm mood.  The glass window is held by magnets, so opening it to start a flame is easy.  A slide on the front of the fireplace allows you to adjust the fuel tank’s output, controlling the flame from a small candle-like flicker to a raging blaze.

Amazon has the downright dapper Conmoto Travelmate Portable Fireplace, priced at $3,200.
