Don Vito Corleone Action Figure Looks Scary Real

I must admit, I'm not a big fan of action figures. That's not about to stop me from dropping my jaw on the floor for the Don Vito Corleone 12-inch figure from the Hot Toys Movie Masterpiece line, which is simply nothing short of glorious.

To put it simply, this is one of the finest action figures I've ever laid eyes on, with an eerie likeness (they nailed the Marlon Brando head sculpt perfectly), amazing detail (check out the age spots on his face and the veins in his hands) and a wide range of articulation that allows you to deck it in unbelievable poses. I guess it's really been a long time since I paid attention to action figures because my old-ass GI Joes never looked this fun.

The piece itself sports a 1:6 scale, with a hard plastic build and a vinyl head. Incredible customization is facilitated by the TrueType body, which allows for over 32 points of movement, along with a good amount of props that include the classic Godfather chair, a wine glass, a cat and three interchangeable hands.  Packaging comes with a display stand, a base and a cardboard display background.

Whether you love the most influential Mafia tale of our time or are just a fan of great toys, it's tough to turn a blind eye at this Don Vito Corleone figure. I haven't seen that movie in years and I haven't owned a single action figure since I was 13, but I want one. Yes, I seriously want one of this Sideshow exclusive, even at the $149.99 price.
