EasyBreath Mask Lets You Breathe Normally While Snorkeling

Snorkeling can be easy enough. Just remember to breathe through the mouth and you’ll be fine. But why not make it even easier by letting folks breathe through the nose? That’s exactly what the EasyBreath Snorkeling Mask does.

Instead of a tube that connects to just a mouthpiece, the new snorkel attaches the air pipe to a watertight mask that covers your entire face. Because your face is shielded from the water, it lets you breathe as naturally as you do before getting in the water, apart from eliminating the need to put on a pair of goggles to keep water out of your eyes. It’s pretty cool, with the only potential downside being if you enjoy the feel of water on your face when you’re fully immersed.

Designed by Tribord, the EasyBreath Snorkeling Mask gives users a 180-degree field of vision, ensuring they enjoy an unobstructed view of the sights in the water. It also doesn’t fog, courtesy of a double airflow system similar to extraction fans that quickly eliminates any air you exhale. The top of the snorkel is also thicker compared to regular snorkels, complete with a bright color, so people in the surface can easily see you while you’re treading under the surface. To ensure no water accidentally gets into the mask, it comes with a mechanism that plugs the air hole automatically any time the whole thing gets immersed in water. Construction is polypropylene and silicone.

We can’t find details on availability, but it’s set to retail for €39.95.
