Frywall Splatter-Proofs Your Frying Pan To Keep The Kitchen Clean

If you’re going to fry stuff in the pan, you’re going to get oil splatters, whether you’re working with chicken, porkchops, or tasty slices of bacon. Yeah, you’re going to have to clean up the stovetop, the walls, and everything else in the vicinity afterwards. Unless, of course, you’re using the Frywall.

You know those cones you put around the neck of dogs to keep them from biting on anything that itches? It looks like that, albeit with a silicone construction that allows it to withstand heat up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. During use, you simply place it on the inside of your pan, acting as an extension wall that’s ready to catch any grease that splatters out during cooking.

The Frywall comes in two sizes: one for the 10-inch pans and another for 12-inchers. When set up on the pan, it settles at an angled profile (as opposed to straight like the walls of a pot), allowing you to easily toss and turn the food while catching any splatter. Do note, this is big, with the 10-inch pan version measuring 15 inches in diameter and the other an even larger 17 inches. Fortunately, it folds down to a compact bundle, allowing you to push it inside a drawer without any problem.

When you’re not frying high fat stuff, you can use the contraption as an extension of the pan, allowing you to stir that sauce or toss those stir-fry vegetables without having any food spill off. It’s dishwasher-safe and can be used on ovens, too (up to the max temperature, of course), provided you leave some headroom since the darn thing sticks up pretty high.

Available now, the Frywall is priced starting at $21.95.
