Fuego Element Portable: A Sleek-Looking, Carry-On Gas Grill

Got a sudden hankering for a barbecue during the middle of a walk in the woods?  Not a problem if you’ve been walking around with the Fuego Element Portable, a functional gas grill that you can haul around like a messenger bag.

Sure, it’s not be the first  grilling apparatus designed for easy movability.  Heck, we’ve even featured disposable outdoor grills around these parts.  Sporting Fuego’s contemporary style, though, it may just be one of the prettiest.  Folded up for carrying around, in fact, it looks more like a fancy hard case bag than a cooking implement.

The Fuego Element Portable is an outdoor gas grill with an 8,000 BTU stainless steel burner and 160 square inches of cooking area for plenty of burgers and hotdogs during your next light-packing camping sojourn.    Features include a cast iron grill grate, push button ignition and a dishwasher-safe tray to catch your drips (if you catch my… uhmm… forget it).

A huge rubber band stretches from end to end once the ensemble is closed up, holding the lid shut  and keeping everything intact.  The aluminum legs flip to the side, as well, creating a sturdy carrying handle.  An included strap can clip on to the legs’ joints, allowing  you to sling it over your shoulder for even easier handling.

Weighing less than 15 lbs., the Fuego Element Portable is a no-brainer choice if you want both a convenient and spiffy-looking cooking apparatus for your outdoor adventures.  It’s currently on pre-order, with a March 25th release date, priced at $150.
