Loctote Flak Sack: This Is As Theft-Proof As A Drawstring Bag Can Get

Yes, calling a drawstring bag a “theft-proof bag” sounds like a lame joke. Few bags seem easier to compromise, after all. Apparently, not all drawstring bags are alike, as this Loctote Flak Sack comes fully-equipped to keep all of your belongings safe.

That’s because it’s no ordinary drawstring bag. The opening, for instance, can be padlocked, so no one can access the bag’s contents without a key or a combination. Of course, a thief can just as easily slash the bag’s shell, except this one is made from a cut-resistant fabric that can’t be poked, sliced, and torn open by any conventional blades.

The Loctote Flak Sack uses a patent-pending locking strap that prevents the drawstring from being pulled open when locked down. That strap is made from a tubular nylon that’s reinforced and grommeted with stainless steel components and 49 strands of stainless steel wire, ensuring that part cannot be cut, either. It comes with an accompanying combination padlock made from brass and hardened steel, although you can use any lock you prefer to lock down the bag. The locking strap is long enough that you can use it to tie the bag down to a fixture (like your bicycle’s frame) – just put the loop through the shackle to lock everything down in place.

Construction is a double layer of high-performance body armor that, Loctote claims, is five times more cut-resistant than Kevlar. Features include a waterproof pocket with RFID blocking technology, three-way locking snaps on the opening for additional closure, a key clip on the inside for your keys, heavy-duty bonded polyester stitching, nylon yacht rope drawstrings, and a lock pocket behind the label.
