Modular Golf Rug Kit Gives You Putting Practice For Cheaper

Need a place to practice your putt, but can’t afford to have one of those expensive indoor setups?  We can’t guarantee it will play like the real thing, but this eight-piece modular putting rug should let you clock in some good practice time all the same.

Released by Flor Tiles, Putt Up or Shut Up should work great as a portable putting green that you can lay down just about anywhere in your house.  Whether you want to practice inside the bedroom, at the outdoor patio or while watching TV in the living room, it should make it happen with little setup.

The golf rug uses two types of surfaces, smooth and cropped on most areas, along with a plusher depth in some parts.  As such, you can vary your practice by simply rearranging the 19.7 x 19.7 inch square tiles.  It comes with instructions on how to arrange for three different course configurations (Par 3, Par 4 and Par 5) that each measure 3 x 6 feet.  By the looks of it, you can get even more creative and do some strange rearrangements of your own.  The tile setup will probably look bad, but the challenge should be well worth the eyesore.

Hole might be a bit disappointing as it’s simply a cut out on the rug.  You won’t be able to use the ultra-cool RoboCup with the Putt Up or Shut Up, for instance, since that requires a standard practice hole depth.  Still, a portable practice putting green for $139.99 doesn’t sound like a bad deal at all.
