New Airfryer XL Fries More Food Faster

I love my Airfryer — deep fried food with a minimal amount of oil is just the best combination ever.  With great-tasting deep fried grub and low fat content, of course, comes family members gorging on your fries and wings.  We’re guessing that’s why Philip decided to supersize the machine with their new Avance Airfryer XL.

While boasting 50% more capacity than the original Airfryer, the new model retains its compact dimensions (same footprint as its predecessor), allowing you to fit it into a crowded countertop right next to your four-in-one oven, your Breakfast Express and your Powermix Silent.  Not only can it handle greater volume, it’s faster, too, posting 30% faster cook times than the original version.

The Philips Avance Airfryer XL sports an improved version of the manufacturer’s Rapid Air technology, which combines precisely circulating hot air with an optimal temperature profile and a unique shape that allows it to fry food with a minimal amount of oil.  Just like the original, it produces perfectly crispy chips, fries and hot wings hands-free (no stirring and no turning) while injecting you with 80% less fat than conventional deep fryers.  And since kitchen appliances are more fun when they can cook more than one way, it also comes with accessories that let you make homemade pizzas, brownies and other non-fried items.

Of course, 80% less fat doesn’t mean you can now live out your life’s dream of eating nothing but french fries every meal of the day.  In case you decide to do so, though, you’ll, at least, be ingesting much less fat than usual.  Which probably still isn’t a good thing.

Release dates and pricing are not yet available, but the Philips Avance Airfryer XL will come in black and white colors.
