Enjoying tortillas at home is easy enough. Just buy a frozen pack from the grocery, heat it in a pan before a meal, and you’re good. If you consume tortillas by the dozen at your household, however, good luck with that. In those situations, you’ll probably appreciate something like the Nuni Tortilla Toaster.
A dedicated appliance for toasting tortillas and, pretty much, any type of flat bread, you simply load them on the designated slots, choose the toast setting, and go. From there, you just wait for the darn thing to finish (around 60 seconds) and enjoy half a dozen warm tortillas ready for the taking. Just load up again for a next batch when necessary.
The Nuni Tortilla Toaster automatically heats both sides of the flat bread, so there’s no need to flip anything over like you do on a pan. We love the rotary knob for setting the toast level, too, allowing you to set exactly how toasted you want the tortillas to get, including a setting for burning the darn thing to a charred mess. It can heat tortillas up to six inches in diameter, with a rotating design that slightly tilts out the flatbread for easy retrieval.
Features include automatic pre-heating, auto-shutoff, an off button (in case you want to cut the cooking time short), and notifications (both audio and LED) as soon as a round of toasting is done. It comes in four colors.
Now available for preorder with a June ship date, the Nuni Tortilla Toaster is priced at $79.99.
