Tool rolls are awesome, giving you an easy way to carry tools while keeping them organized for easy access later. If you want to enjoy the same convenience with the rest of the gear you usually carry in a duffel bag, you might want to check out the Red Oxx Big Bull Roll-Up.
Similar to tool rolls, the bag lays flat when opened, exposing multiple compartments for holding all your gear. Except, in this case, it rolls up into the size of a normal duffel bag, allowing you to use it for carrying a lot more than hand tools and knives.
The Red Oxx Big Bull Roll-Up doesn’t just look like a duffel when rolled up, it carries like one, too, with both a carry handle and a no-slip shoulder strap. When unrolled, it opens up to six individual, double-zippered pockets: two large (19 x 7 x 3 inches, l x w x h), two medium (11 x 7 x 3 inches), and two small (5.5 x 7 x 3 inches). All six pockets are made from a durable mesh material, so you can easily see the contents of each. As you can imagine, this makes it ideal for airline carry-on (just unroll it during inspection), especially since the whole bag can fit both in overhead compartments and under the seats.
Features include double-ballistic nylon fabric for the exterior, 1000D Cordura lining, double-stitched and bound-edged construction, Fastex buckles, and 304 welded stainless steel V-rings. It’s weather-resistant, but not entirely waterproof, so while you can brave the rain in this thing, it’s probably best to keep it to a minimum.
Available now, the Red Oxx Big Bull Roll-Up is priced at $285.
