Stetson Carbon Fiber Fedora: Yes, It Exists

Yes, some people can look good in a fedora. Most of the time, however, people who accessorize with one just end up looking dorky. Since there’s a good chance you’re going to look like a dork anyway, why not go full dork and slip on one of Stetson’s Carbon Fiber Fedoras.

That’s right, the longtime hat manufacturer actually makes a fedora cut in lightweight and super strong carbon fiber. Why? We’re not entirely sure, but if you’re a fan of carbon fiber gear, we’re betting you’ll have a lot of fun rocking this thing while typing on your carbon fiber MacBook, playing your carbon fiber guitar, and mashing buttons on a carbon fiber joystick.

The Stetson Carbon Fiber Fedora is crafted using a carbon fiber strand that’s been uniquely processed to be flexible while staying intact. We’re not even sure how it’s made, so we’re not going to bother hazarding a guess – just know that this is genuine carbon fiber and the first hat to be made from such a material, making for a great alternative to the straw and felt hats you normally wear for accessorizing. As for the hat style, it comes with a pinched-front, teardrop-shaped crown measuring 4.5 inches and a brim just shy of 2 inches, as well as a matching black hatband.

Available now, the Stetson Carbon Fiber Fedora is priced at $199.
