This Tabletop Moonshine Still Lets You Cook Up Your Own Hard Liquor In The Kitchen

Granted, you’re not going to build a bootleg moonshine empire using the Tabletop Moonshine Still. If you just want to experiment with making your own hard liquor (or moonshine cologne) at home, though, this thing will let you distill a personal supply using nothing but the stovetop in your kitchen.

Consisting of a pot, a cooling jar, and a set of pipes, this thing lets you distill mash or wine into a bootleg moonshine you can imbibe to get blind-drunk during the holidays. Just kidding about the blind-drunk part, of course. Just make sure you’re not distilling a bad batch of mash (learn how to make one properly or buy from trusted brew stores), follow the instructions, and you should be able to make liquor that won’t render you blind.  Fingers crossed.

The Tabletop Moonshine Still can distill a half-gallon’s worth of mash at a time, which allows it to produce between 7 to 12 ounces of hard liquor, depending on the alcohol content. All parts are constructed from Type 304 stainless steel, the same type used in premium cookware, to ensure the metal doesn’t affect the taste of the final product. To use, simply dump a half-gallon of mash (or jug wine) in the pot, put ice on top of the cooling jar, place a pitcher under the dispenser, and start cooking. It requires no running water during operation, so everything is confined within the sparse, minimalist setup. Each set comes with full instructions for proper distillation, by the way, so you don’t have to experiment with temperatures and durations.

Available now, the Tabletop Moonshine Still is priced at $249.98.
