Wrap Your Laptop In A Chic South African Cement Bag
Why buy a run-of-the-mill laptop bag when you can buy one that prepares you for a potential career? That’s exactly what you get with the PPC Cement Laptop Bag, a full-featured messenger bag made from unused cement sacks.
What kind of career, you ask? One in mixing cement, of course, as the bag features complete instructions printed all over it. Do you know, for instance, that to mix a low strength concentrate of the calcined limestone and clay, you need one wheelbarrow of cement, four of sand and stone, and 70 liters of water? If you buy this bag, you will, as the full chart detailing every combination appears just right under the flap.
Each PPC Cement Laptop Bag comes with two main compartments separated by a padded divider and two large pockets. Creator Wren Design says the main area can hold up to 15.5-inch notebooks, with [...]
Veto LT-XL Portable Office Puts A Laptop Bag And A Toolbox In One Single Sack
Blue collar guys carried tools. White collar folks brought along laptops and papers. Unfortunately, professional life for many engineers and technical workers is no longer that simple. The Veto LT-XL Portable Office is a bag designed to fill both needs, able to hold laptops, gadgets and an assortment of hand tools all in the same sack.
Why carry two bags when you can fit everything in one? That’s the idea behind the schizophrenic bag, which holds a bevy of slings and pockets for hand tools on one side (the handyman side) and a trove of compartments for delicate electronics on the other (the business side).
The business side has sections for a laptop, power cords, documents and a host of small pockets for handheld gadgets of all sorts. On the other side of the magnetic carrying strap (yep, it’s quite a fancy handle) lies the handyman side, which offers provisions for up [...]
Bob Basset’s New Dragon Backpack Looks Even More Gnarly Than The First
Hey dude you got a dragon on your back – it looks crazy awesome. I suppose that’s exactly the reaction you’re going to get when you walk around town with the Dragon Backpack, a functional bag clad in the ominous form of a fire-breathing baby monster.
Creator Bob Basset, who sells plenty of Medieval style wares on his online store, didn’t give much details on the accessory. Suffice to say, the thing looks pretty awesome. And gnarly. Like, if I smoked a little too much herbal stuff, I might freak out. Ahhh!
Looking at his archive, it appears to be the second iteration of the leather bag, with the original version posted back in 2006. This new dragon looks even more realistic, with detailed scales, devilish horns and a glossy finish. Let’s put it this way: the old one looked like a bag; this one looks like a mutant reptile hanging on [...]

Loop NYC Ghetto Blaster Bag Hangs An iPod Boombox On Your Shoulder
Fancy a whiff of 80s street culture with your carry-on accessories? Sling the Loop NYC Ghetto Blaster Bag on your shoulders and feel like you’re toting a bona fide boombox from years past.
Clad in a large and impossible-to-ignore ghetto blaster graphic, the funky-looking, rectangular bag should go very well with your hip, urban outfits. Walk down the street with a swagger and get ready to breakdance – well, at least, act like it.
More than a bag with boombox styling, the Loop NYC Ghetto Blaster Bag comes with an integrated set of speakers and an area for your iPod. That means it can bellow out loud music and irritate predestrians, much the same way the classic blasters from that colorful decade used to fill street corners with beats from Eric B and Rakim.
It measures a standard-sized 51 x 28 x 13 centimeters and is made from cotton twill. The sales page [...]
Bamboo Briefcase Claims Better Toughness Than Your Favorite Steel Case
I never really got into the whole eco-friendly bamboo thing that’s been a small craze as of late. That’s why I’m not pissing in excitement about this Bamboo Briefcase, which should actually be a particularly nifty document case, since the whole thing is clad in the ultra-durable and lightweight organic material.
Assembled by hand from Moso bamboo panels (right out of Midland Chinese forests), the small suitcase claims a tensile strength of 28,000 lbs per square inch, making it more durable than steel. Factor in the slight weight along with natural water resistance, and you’ve got one heck of a briefcase that can rival your favorite portable storage panels.
Dimensions are 17.25 x 12.75 x 3.5 inches, with an easily manageable weight of 5.5 lbs. Exterior is completely decked in bamboo (with a natural finish), which makes it look like a toolbox more than an office briefcase (and that sucks). It comes [...]
Defy Bags Gives An Answer To Where Dead Billboards Go
I used to wonder what happens to old vinyl billboards once the advertising run is up. As it turns out, a good lot of them are handcrafted into spanking hot messenger totes, courtesy of Defy Bags.
Used material for your new bags? It actually makes perfect sense. Heavy-duty vinyl, such as those used across billboards, are water-resistant, extremely durable and literally take decades to degrade in landfills (hence, the sense of recycling it). Even better, the second-hand status almost certainly makes sure there are imperfections in the material, causing each bag to sport a unique character all its own.
The outer flap employs the back side of the vinyl so they can print new designs on it, but the rest of the bag uses the area previously sporting the advertisements. As a result, the bags’ bodies are clad in an unpredictable variety of prints, leaving each messenger a one-of-a-kind piece. They also [...]
Hambone Frame Bags Add A Stylish Purse To Your Bike’s Top Tube
Everyone can use more pocket space. Even your bike. Hambone Designs’ frame bags are meant to hang securely on your two-wheeled mechanical vehicle (right in that space between your thighs), providing you with another place to set various small items so you can leave them out of your pants’ pockets.
Those who spent copious amounts of time pushing pedals in the 90s have probably owned a frame bag or two. They were very common on mountain bikes back then. With the increasing number of portable devices finding their way among our carry-on necessities (including regular bicycle riders), the utilitarian accessories are slowly making their way back.
Hambone offers two models of their frame-hung bags, namely the Velopocket and the Balzac. The former is shaped like a rectangular purse, while the latter is cut out as a quarter circle. Both pouches fasten to the bike using two internal straps on the top tube [...]
Dolores Chiller Beer Cooler Hides Under Messenger Bag
Want to have a cold beer every now and again…while doing a spreadsheet…in the office? If you thought there was no chance of getting away with that, you might want to reconsider your strategy. Timbuk2’s Dolores Chiller is a Classic Messenger bag that’s been converted into a fully-working cooler, allowing you to carry a stack of beer on ice, while looking no different than an ordinary satchel.
That’s right. No need to make do with a stack of warm beer under your desk drawer, camouflage it with aluminum foil in the freezer or raise your supervisor’s suspicions by carrying an actual cooler to work. Just throw a six pack in the messenger bag, fill it with ice and walk to your cubicle just like every other drone around you. Once you get a little stressed, pop one and it all goes away.
Able to hold at least 12 cans of your favorite [...]

Ugh. Beer again? Don’t you wish your friends can grow up a little and start serving stiff cocktails during your Friday night poker sessions? A satchel for boozehounds, it’s the perfect companion for everyone who likes to party with a martini in hand, wherever they end up. Pet At Work Backpack Lets You Haul A Dog On Your Back, Throws In A Laptop Compartment Too
Is your puppy giving you the sad face every time you leave for work? Sneak them into the office next time with the Pet At Work Travel System, a specially-designed backpack that can fit both your laptop and your pooch at the same time.
Cheekily nicknamed P@W (Pets @ Work, get it?), the versatile bag offers separate compartments for both the dog and the notebook, along with a third one for a bundled portable dog house. Called the Pet Dome, the foldable contraption offers a soft crate that your dog can call home – while you stash it in the stock room, away from your boss.
The bag can be easily configured into one of three modes – compact, standard and expanded – allowing for some flexibility with the size of pets it can handle. At the expanded mode, it maximizes space to allow for up to 16 inches of [...]
Solar Flare Messenger Bag Makes Room For Your Gadgets, Charges Them
If you’re going to be tortured with carrying a large bag and a couple other gadgets while walking under the sun, you might as well get something out of it, right? Pack those little pieces of electronics into the Solar Flare messenger bag and draw a few additional trickles of charge into their battery panels.
While it’s not the most stylish shoulder-strapping receptacle around, the Solar Flare looks built to keep up with your heavy workday. More than housing your slew of professional equipment, it fits in a capable solar charging module, helping your electronics serve you longer even without a wall outlet in sight.
The bag is made from 1680 Denier nylon and measures 17 x 12 x 5 inches, allowing it to fit even larger 17-inch laptops, with enough extra space for other items, including documents and books. Apart from the laptop cavity, it makes room for [...]
Tota Coffee Carrier: For Stylish Errand Boys On The Morning Coffee Run
Don’t you think the unfortunate lackey that ends up getting coffee for your entire department of office miscreants every morning deserve a little break? After all, carrying all half-a-dozen cups of hot drinks every single day is a tough chore – one that frequently paves the way for stained shirts and second degree burns. Not to mention, of course, that being an office errand boy doesn’t offer you much in the way of respect. Spare them the hassle of dirty clothes, burnt skin and style-snobbery by begging the fine folks at Purchasing for several units of the Tota Coffee Carrier, a fashionable-looking piece of utility that’s designed to hold two cups of coffee each, along with packets of sugar and cream on the side.
While the design is certainly nothing new (they used to have cup carriers at my local McDonald’s too), the thick styrene and gray felt materials lend the [...]

Pockets, as expected, were designed for combat gear, which actually makes it even cooler. There’s one for a hidden full-sized gun, two adjustable side pockets to fit in radios, two for pens, one for Stingers, one for a tactical illuminator, four designed for gun magazines, a tubular pocket for irregular [...]
