TwistTogether LED Lamp, The LEGO Of Lights

twistogether2

Looking for a new lighting accessory to replace your tired, old nightlamp?  Get with the program and lay down something cool next to your bed, like the unique TwistTogether Lamp, which can stack and reconfigure into a variety of shapes and designs.

Proclaimed by some as the “LEGO of Lights” (though I wouldn’t go that far), it’s a colorful lighting display made up of individual blocks that can be piled and arranged to form whatever shapes your gray matter can come up with.  They attach to each other via connectors (which look like magnetic thingies, though I’m not sure) located on the four sides of each block.

Each set comes with four molded blocks (measuring 4.5 x  4.5 x 2.25 inches) in different colors (blue, orange, yellow and red), although new blocks can be bought and added to the set.  Only one block needs to be plugged into a power source, as power can travel from one unit to another.

Being 12-volt LED fixtures, they should consume less power, but are likely strictly for nightlight use.  There’s no way they’re going to replace your bedside reading lamp unless you add a dozen or so blocks to your set.  Even then, the strange colors will probably strain your eyes badly.

Each set of the TwistTogether Lamp is available for $104.
