Vacu Vin Steel Pineapple Slicer Makes Fruit Rings In 30 Seconds

Do you love pineapples, but can't stand all the work it requires to peel and slice them? Not a problem with the Vacu Vin Steel Pineapple Slicer, a clever little kitchen tool that peels, cores and slices a whole pineapple in only thirty seconds.

Who needs their fruits pre-sliced and packed? Not you. Just cut the pineapple around the top, stick this device in and twist it down the pit. The integrated blades perform all the work - turn once for a single slice and twist continuously to core the whole fruit in one swoop. See the results in the photo? That's like magic right there.

Made from stainless steel, the device is intended to be a more durable version of Vacu Vin's original plastic slicer. It measures 4.5 x 3.4 x 9.5 inches and comes equipped with a medium-sized blade, allowing it to fit most sizes of pineapples. We're not sure if it can work with other fleshy fruits too, but it should be worth the try. Papaya rings sure sound like they'll be fun. Mmmm....

According to the sales page, it will leave the hollowed-out skin intact even after you've cored the fruit. As such, you can use it to hold your favorite tropical cocktails, like, I don't know, beer with pineapple bits. Wait, that doesn't sound good. Ugh.

At any rate, it's quite the useful kitchen gadget for around $10 at Amazon.

This pineapple slicer is an absolute marvel. so simple that you just ask yourself why didn’t i think of this. It’s ingenious. It’s a great gift as long as you don’t forget the pineapple to go along with it. just showing the person how the cutter works and the beautiful cuts it produces puts an instant smile on the person watching’s face.
