Baby Bunk Lets You Keep Your Newborn Within Arm’s Reach When You Sleep

When your newborn cries in the middle of the night, you wake up.  It’s non-negotiable.  However, finding the legs to get up and the head to make your way to the little tyke’s crib can be a little tough. The Baby Bunk, an infant sleeping area that can be attached to your bed, should help ease the difficulty, allowing you to tend to the baby while staying comfortable in your own bed.

Suitable for newborns up to six months, the co-sleeper puts the child within your arm’s reach at all times.  That means you can simply reach out to feed and comfort the little lad once the ear-shattering crying starts.

The Baby Bunk latches onto your bed using two support arms that sit under the mattress and the boxspring, with two adjustable wooden legs providing support from the bottom.  For futons and platform beds, optional lip clips and customized legs can also be ordered.  Made from solid maple with a choice of either water-based clear lacquer or white primer finish, it measures 12 x 15.75 x 36.25 inches and weighs 38 pounds.

If you’ve got a baby to tend to, it makes perfect sense to keep them close by, especially during the first few months.  Sleeping right beside them is about as close as it gets, without putting them at any risk.

Available from Side By Side Sleeping, the Baby Bunk can be bought for $245 or rented for $40 a month.
