Aside from holding your keys, your keychain makes a great accessory for attaching a good load of stuff. From miniature knives and bullet flashlights to small toys and other undersized gear, your keychain can serve as home to a good load of fun and useful stuff you can bring along every day.
Here are some of our favorite keychain accessories.
Victorinox Swiss Army MiniChamp Alox
Enjoy having a Swiss Army style multi-tool on hand for various tasks you encounter throughout the day? The 2-inch long MiniChamp gives you that with the onboard knife, letter opener, LED light, retractable ballpoint pen, hook tool, Phillips screwdriver, scissors, scraper, and a bunch of other tools that give it a total of 16 functions. Granted, all those tools leave it a little thick, so it adds a fair amount of bulk to your keychain, but if you prefer the utility of Swiss Army multi-tools, you’ll absolutely love to have this one hooked up in there.

Touted as the world’s smallest wall charger, the Chargerito uses foldable outlet plugs and a foldable connector to shrink itself to a compact size of 2 x 1.8 x 0.6 inches (width x height x thickness), allowing it to comfortably fit on any keychain. Heck, it’s small enough to squeeze into your jeans’ coin pocket. To maintain the size, they only added one type of connector to each charger, so there are individual models for iPhones, USB-C devices, and older microUSB units.

Carrying a samurai sword around sounds cool. Until, of course, someone calls the police and you get in trouble for walking around wielding a full-fledged katana. If you don’t want to deal with that, maybe you can get a similar thrill with the Pocket Samurai, a keychain-sized folding knife clad in the likeness of the Japanese feudal weapon. Albeit, in a size that won’t prompt any calls to the local cops.

Nitecore Tip SE Flashlight
This keychain flashlight measures just 2.36 x 0.95 x 0.54 inches (length x width x thickness), all while delivering bright illumination of up to 700 lumens with a maximum beam distance of 100 yards. Yeah… this is not your traditional keychain light. It has four lighting modes, two color temperature options, simple two-button controls, and a rechargeable battery rated at up to 50 hours of runtime, all while coming in an all-metal enclosure that’s IP54 rated for water resistance and shrug off five foot drops.

Marlboro & Kane Claw 2.0
At just 1.5 inches long, the second-generation Claw is one of the smallest multi-tools you’re ever going to find. For a keychain tool, it’s also one of the most useful, with an edged blade sporting rounded tips that you can use for tearing packages, prying, and driving flathead screws, as well as two hex wrenches and a bottle opener. It looks good, too, looking more like a fancy metal key fob than a utilitarian tool.
If you carry one of those metal straws to eliminate the need to use plastic straws whenever you buy a drink while you’re out and about, you’ve probably realized a reusable straw isn’t the most convenient thing to carry. Unless, of course, it’s able to collapse into a smaller size when not in use. That’s exactly what you get with the FinalStraw, which nestles inside a case sized to hang on your keychain.

This teardrop-shaped key fob houses a packable drawstring bag that can hold up to three liters’ worth of gear. It’s a full-fledged dry bag, too, so you can use it to keep your wet clothes from dripping when you go the beach or to keep your gear dry when you’re walking through a drizzle. And yes, the bag can be packed back inside the key fob case (no matter how difficult it might look), so you’ll be able to keep a three-liter bag in your keychain that’s ready to be pulled out for use at all times.
Ganbrips Mini Chef Knife
This keychain-sized butcher knife measures just 2.3 inches long, with the blade taking up over half of that length. It’s a real knife, too, so you can use it for performing cuts and slices on various objects, although you can’t quite use it to cleave through the large hunk of pork leg stashed in your freezer. While we doubt it will be as useful as other keychain knife options out there (the blade is really small), the cleaver styling does make for a much more striking aesthetic.
- ✅Material and Craftsmanship --- The mini cleaver is made of a thick stainless steel blade and a...
Gearward Keychain Duct Tape
Do you regularly find plenty of uses for duct tape throughout the day? Might as well throw a roll into your keychain using this accessory, which lets you fit up to 18 inches of standard duct tape or 24 inches of gaffer’s tape, whichever one you prefer for your DIY repair needs. When fitted with a full roll, the whole thing measures the size of a tube of Chapstick, so it adds very little bulk. Even better, if you don’t want to spend 10 minutes slowly rolling duct tape on a tube, it’s compatible with most power drills, which you can use to quickly refill the roll in just a few seconds.
