Forget Work-At-Home, ErgoArc Lets You Work-In-Bed

Sometimes, you just don’t want to leave the bed.  Maybe it’s because you broke your foot kicking the door in because you lost the keys last night.  Maybe you have a hangover and moving any part of your body feels like mild torture.  Or maybe you just really love your bed because it’s soft and cushy and smells like peaches.  Whichever the case, the ErgoArc is exactly the accessory you need.

Made by Florida-based Angaroa, it’s a portable laptop desk designed for use while in bed.  While it’s not the first notebook stand for in-bed use, we do appreciate the clever design which lets you use it from various positions — even while completely lying down.

The ErgoArc features a vented desktop that can be adjusted at various angles, much like a drafting table.  A stopper at the edge keeps the laptop from falling off when it’s turned at a steep angle, so it doesn’t end up falling on your face while you troll on 4Chan first thing in the morning.  There are add-ons that you can attach to the sides, as well, including a cupholder (for coffee in bed) and a mouse pad.  Construction is maple plywood.

Designed for easy transport (so you can take it to a hotel room you never plan to leave), the entire thing folds flat and weighs just 5 pounds.  It can hold laptops up to 250 pounds, so you can throw two gaming notebooks in there if you can find a way to fit them without issue.

You can get the ErgoArc now, priced at $73.99.
