With grown-up coloring books growing more popular than ever, it was only a matter of time before high fashion tried nabbing a slice of that pie. Pioneering the possible future trend is the KarlBox, a collaborative set of coloring supplies from Karl Lagerfeld and Faber-Castell.

Granted, it’s not just aimed at the current crop of coloring enthusiasts, as the set includes sketching, drawing, and painting supplies along with the standard coloring materials. As such, well-heeled artists, Chanel fans, and fashionable people thinking of becoming artists some day (but probably won’t) can find plenty to love about the set as well.

The KarlBox houses the supplies in a beech wood container styled like a Chinese wedding chest, with a likeness of Lagerfeld under the lid to help explain the premium price tag it carries. All the drawing supplies are housed in removable drawers, making it easy to pull them out for bringing to your drafting table (or, more likely, the bed), with each drawer housing a specific color family to keep everything organized.

For your drawing and coloring needs, the set includes the Albrecht Durer Watercolor Pencils, Polychromos Color Pencils, Polychromos Pastels, Pitt Artist Pens, Castell 9000 Graphite Pencils (both standard and jumbo sizes), Pitt Graphite Crayons, Pitt Graphite Aquarelle, and Pitt Artist Pens Fineliner, giving you a total of 350 drawing instruments. They also throw in a bunch of accessories, namely a watercolor brush, sharpeners, erasers, and a water cup.

Only 2,500 units of the KarlBox will be made, each one priced at $2,850.
