Remember those keys that were done up to look like lightsabers? They’re awesome. And while we have nothing against having our key fobs populated exclusively by lightsaber keys, we have a feeling it’s going to be more fun if those Star Wars weapons were reinforced with sword keys from other pop culture sources. The Key Armory lets you do just that.
Instead of doing keys strictly in lightsaber form, these unique keys come decked as various types of swords from various franchises, including Lord of the Rings, Kingdom Hearts, Zelda, and more. Yes, they do have Star Wars keys, too, if you still haven’t had your fill, but the wider selections should let you make your key fob a whole lot more entertaining.
The Key Armory currently has five designs: Link’s Master Sword from Zelda, the Keyblade from Kingdom Hearts, King Ellesar’s Anduril from Lord of the Rings, Kylo Ren’s unique lightsaber from The Force Awakens, and Sting from The Hobbit. Each one only comes in a natural silver finish, so you’ll have to dress it up yourself if you want to recreate the original colors from the franchises, which will probably end up being half of the fun of something like this.
All designs are offered in two key types: Kwikset KW1 and Schlage SC1, giving you enough options to fit around 95 percent of household locks in the US. Do note, the keys ship uncut, so you’ll have to bring them to your local hardware store (or whoever cuts keys in your area) to make them usable.
