Racks that fit over one side of the sink have been around for a while, giving you a convenient place to dry the dishes while leaving the rest of the sink available for use. A wide and tall rack designed to set up elevated high above the sink, it can take a big load of dishes, so you can have them drying without having to stack a bunch of plates, bowls, and cookware on top of each other. Because it sets up elevated, you get full access to both the sink and the faucet the whole time, allowing you to keep the rack in place without limiting the kind of things you can do in the sink.
The Langria Over-Sink Dish Drying Rack has a powder-coated stainless steel frame with sturdy legs on the left and right sides, which can be secured in place using the included suction cups. It comes with a dish rack, a bowl rack, and produce basket, all of which you can arrange anywhere on the top of the rack, so you can place each on the left, right, or middle sections, depending on how it best suits your purpose. There’s also a cutlery holder, a chopping board holder, a knife rack, and even an accessory basket (for your dishwashing supplies) that can be hooked to lower sections of the frame, although you can leave them out if the top rack is enough to get you all the space that you require.
Dimensions are fixed at 37.4 x 20.5 x 12.6 inches (width x height x depth), with no room for adjustments, so it will either fit your sink or it won’t. For reference, it’s been designed with sinks measuring a maximum of 36.6 inches wide and faucets standing at a maximum of 17 inches in mind, in case you’re curious if it’s going to fit in your own kitchen. Do note, if your sink is much narrower than the dish rack, then you need to make sure you place the baskets in line with the sink, lest have water spilling off onto the countertop.
Because all the baskets and racks on the Langria Over-Sink Dish Drying Rack are removable, you can easily take any one out when it’s time to put them back in your cabinets and drawers. This makes it easy to tidy up after all the dishes are dry, all while making it easy to clean the racks individually as needed. According to the outfit, the rack is strong enough to support weights of up to 88 pounds, which is a heck of a lot of freshly-washed dishes. The rack, by the way, arrives unassembled, so you’ll have to spend a little time lining up the parts and driving screws to properly set up.
