That’s right, Ruggable has an entire line of rugs decked in Marvel graphics, allowing you to carpet your floors with images of Spider-Man, Captain America, and a host of other characters from the Marvel universe. Whether for the living room, the kitchen, or the bedroom, this thing lets you bring a comic book aesthetic to the floors all around your home.
Each Ruggable Marvel Rug is made up of two components: a rug pad and a rug cover. The rug pad is a plain black cushion that’s made from the same soft yet firm materials as yoga mats, while the rug cover is a low-pile fabric that’s printed with the graphic on top and designed to adhere loosely to the pad on the opposite side. That means, you can use the same rug pads with different rug covers, allowing you to easily change the imagery on your floors by simply buying a new cover.
There are two options in rug pads: classic, which measures an eight of an inch thick, and cushioned, which measures two-fifths of an inch thick, which they recommend for use in kitchens and other spaces where you want more cushioning under your feet. It’s both latex-free and non-slip, so it’s safe to set down at any room in your home, while being conducive to spot-cleaning with just soap and water.
The Ruggable Marvel Rug’s cover, on the other hand, is made from polyester with a water-resistant PU barrier, so it should shrug off any spills and stains it encounters during your day-to-day affairs. Even better, it’s designed to be machine-washable, so you can simply throw it in the washer for easy cleaning. According to the outfit, even their largest rug covers can fit comfortably in most washing machines, so there should be no issues cleaning these things. The line is offered in six different sizes of area rugs, two sizes of runners, and two sizes of small round rugs.
What kind of designs can you expect? A lot of cool ones. Some are taken straight out of covers and panels from various comic books, including, Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, and more, while some just show off a character’s logo. If you want something a little more abstract, they do offer patterned rugs inspired by the Kingdom of Wakanda, Captain America’s shield, and the Marvel logo, respectively.
