Snug Is A Beanbag Chair/Nerd Fort

Do you ever find yourself pushing your favorite beanbag chair into a corner and curling up on it with a blanket over your head to shut out the world?  If you do, you might want to trade in your makeshift solution for the Snug, a beanbag seater with a built in pop-up sleeve that can hide you inside its walls.

Made by Kumeko, the sleeves allow you to put up a veritable fort, letting you read your LEGO Builder’s Guide in complete peace, staying oblivious to the distractions in your midst.  Even better, they also double as a backrest and armrests when you need the extra support — just sit down on one part of the sleeve and use the rest to hold your balance.

The Snug’s seat features a soft inner cushion for parking your rear in comfort, while the surrounding sleeve uses a proprietary material — jersey tubes stuffed with polyurethane foam that are woven into the wool felt (the wool felt helps retain temperature, while the tubes provide soft padding).  A belt along the top of the sleeve allows you to adjust its support, so you can tighten or loosen depending on the position you want.  Granted, it looks like a particularly stylish laundry bag when fully propped up, but the whole thing sure looks plenty comfy.

Available in three sizes (small, medium, large), the Snug can be ordered straight from Kumeko, priced at €416, €516 and €620, respectively.
