When it comes to playing with your food, eggs can prove plenty versatile. These Sports Huevos Egg Shapers add another option to the list, turning them into balls for playing in a mini-version of your favorite sport.
Designed by Avichai Tadmor, it’s a plastic contraption that turns oblong-shaped hard boiled eggs into round balls, ensuring they will roll even better when pushed from one end of the table to another. Not just that, the balls come complete with markings, too, ensuring you know exactly what sport each one is for.
Three designs are available in the Sports Huevos Egg Shapers set: a golf ball, a soccer ball, and a tennis ball. To use, just take a freshly-cooked hard-boiled egg, remove the shell, place it inside your mold of choice (you must put it in before it cools), seal it up, and then submerge the whole thing in cold water. That’s it. Come back in a few minutes, retrieve the egg, and enjoy playing with your new toy (which, we must warn, is still an egg, so will likely disintegrate at the slightest hint of rough play).
