The Oregon Pint Showcases A Molded 3D Image Of Mt. Hood In Its Base

With more than 180 brewing companies operating over 225 facilities in the state, it’s safe to say that Oregon has one of the liveliest beer scenes in America. And while you can enjoy the excellent craft beer that regularly comes out of the vicinity of Mt. Hood with any glass from the cupboard, we have a feeling the Oregon Pint will make for a much more fitting pairing.

Made by North Drinkware, it’s a custom pint glass that features a 3D model of Mt. Hood, Oregon’s tallest peak, rising from the base. That way, you can enjoy your favorite craft beers with one of the most recognizable landmarks from the state where custom brews are widely celebrated.

The Oregon Pint is a hand-blown 16-oz glass, with a custom mold depicting the iconic stratovolcano. For accuracy, they used USGS 3D data to model the mountain, which is integrated into the glass as part of the mold (rather than attached afterwards), ensuring the beer will cascade around the peak when you pour it in. Will suds taste better with this glass? Heck, no. Will you find it to be a source of utter fascination every time you’ve had one too many? We bet.
