Victorinox SwissCard Lite Puts A Pocket Multi-Tool In Your Wallet

With smartphones and other gadgets now taking up the bulk of room in our pockets, few people have the space to carry a conventional Swiss Army Knife around.  If you still feel the need to keep a set of miniature tools on hand, however, your wallet remains a viable option for storage.  And that’s exactly where you can keep the Victorinox Swisscard Lite.

Sized like a credit card, it consists of a plastic container holding a selection of miniature tools that you can pull out as needed.  Just throw it in with the rest of the cards in your wallet and be duly equipped with functional tools ready to be deployed during a time of need.

The Victorinox SwissCard Lite measures 5.2 x 2.8 x 1.5 inches, so while it’s a little thicker than most cards, it should fit into wallet card compartments all the same.  While small, it manages to pack in 13 different tools: a LED torch (18,000 MCD), a magnifying glass, a blade, a pair of scissors, a straight pin, a nail file, two Phillips screwdrivers, tweezers, a toothpick, a pressurized ball point pen, and two rulers (one in inches, one in centimeters).  Most of the tools are detachable, too, making them convenient to handle during use.  Do note, the knife isn’t really all that sharp (it’s more like a letter opener actually), although you can, of course, get it sharpened if you need a proper blade on the road.

Amazon has the Victorinox SwissCard Lite, priced at $27.95.
