Zippered Vents Sleeping Bag

Its too cold out in the woods, So you  zip up the sleeping bag. Now its too hot inside the bag, So you unzip it.  Except it’s too cold again.  So you zip back up.  And then it’s too hot again.  It’s like an endless loop.  Don’t worry, there’s a better way: the Zippered Vents Sleeping Bag.

Instead of just one large zipper along the edge that opens and closes the whole thing, the bag features multiple zippered panels throughout its length.  That way, you can open up various parts of the bag, all while keeping the rest of your body covered up.

Only want your torso covered up?  Unzip everything from the waist down.  Want to give your bulging stomach some air?  You can do that, too, all while covering up everywhere else.   Of course, you can zip everything up for maximum insulation like any regular sleeping bag, as well.  The Zippered Vents Sleeping Bag features a total of five zip-up segments, each one covering your shoulders,  stomach, waist, legs and feet, respectively, so you get plenty of room to customize your sleeping situation.

Construction is 210 rip-stop nylon for the outer and a soft cotton flannel for the inner lining, with a four-layer microfiber insulating the bag (20 degrees Fahrenheit). It also has a built-in sleeve for holding a pillow (yes, a pillow is included with the bag).  Dimensions are 72 x 31 x 3 inches, with a weight of 5.5 pounds.

The Zippered Vents Sleeping Bag is available from Hammacher Schlemmer, priced at $119.95.
