The Peanuts crew have somehow found a resurgence in the 2020s, with Snoopy, in particular, finding massive internet fame in platforms like TikTok and Pinterest. As such, it’s no surprise LEGO is adding Charles M. Schulz’s classic cartoon to its roster with the LEGO Ideas Peanuts: Snoopy’s Doghouse.
That’s right, the Peanuts crew have made their way to LEGO land, starting off with one of the most classic imagery from the franchise’s 75-year run – Snoopy hanging out in his doghouse with Woodstock. Whether you’re a longtime Peanuts fan from the old days, a younger fan who discovered it on Apple TV, or a LEGO collector who appreciate sets of iconic characters, this thing should definitely be right up your alley.

The LEGO Ideas Peanuts: Snoopy’s Doghouse doesn’t use minifigs for either the Snoopy or Woodstock figures. Instead, they’re both buildable using included LEGO parts. Even better, they’re articulated, so you can make them walk, sit, turn their heads, and do all sorts of stuff. The Snoopy figure comes with two sets of legs that you can easily swap in, depending on what kind of poses you want him to do. And yes, both are excellent buildable models of the comic characters, ably recreating their drawn likenesses using snap-on plastic bricks.
Aside from the two characters, you also get to build Snoopy’s iconic red doghouse, which is mounted on a square grassy platform, so it looks like it’s set up comfortably on the lawn or the backyard. The doghouse is designed to let you recreate classic scenes from the comic, such as Snoopy and Woodstock sitting or even lying right on top of it, so you can set up plenty of scenes using Snoopy’s abode as a prop. Do note, you might have to switch Snoopy’s legs for some of those poses, so keep that in mind.

The LEGO Ideas Peanuts: Snoopy’s Doghouse comes with a typewriter prop, so you can recreate those days when Snoopy is mired in his thoughts and putting it to paper. There’s also a buildable open campfire included (we guess they didn’t use fire pits back then), so Snoopy and Woodstock can roast marshmallows while enjoying the perks of living outdoors. Even better, the doghouse can be opened to reveal interior walls emblazoned with a starry night sky scene, which you can use as a backdrop for the duo’s camping adventures. Set up the campfire in the middle of the grass platform, set up the walls around it, and put the two around the fire to create a cozy nighttime camping scene.

The set is smaller than the typical LEGO kit we feature here, as this one only comes with 964 pieces, so it shouldn’t take all that long to put together. The doghouse itself measures 10 x 6.5 x 5.5 inches (height x width x depth), so it’s big enough to use as fun decoration for Snoopy fans and Snoopy merch collectors. While we don’t know how popular Snoopy is among kids, we’re guessing they’d love to help build this, too, since it’s a cute dog and a bird with a doghouse in tow, making this a potentially fun build for the family.
The LEGO Ideas Peanuts: Snoopy’s Doghouse is now available for preorder with a June 1st ship date. Price is $89.99.
