AdapDesk Just May Be The Ultimate Laptop Desk

adapdesk-1

It’s not the first multi-position laptop table to come out. Heck, it’s not even the first to let you work while lying down in bed. The AdapDesk, however, covers, pretty much, every element all the others may be missing.

Like other multi-position laptop desks, it can be angled to accommodate a variety of resting positions, whether you’re sitting on the couch, relaxing in a recliner, or plopped down on the bed. Unlike similar solutions we’ve seen them, it comes with trays on the legs that you can use as a mousepad (so you don’t have to be stuck with your laptop’s crappy trackpad) and a cup holder (we don’t know how you’ll drink while lying down, but you can).

Want to take it on the road? Not a problem, as the AdapDesk can flat-pack into a compact pile that measures just 11.75 x 12.75 x 3.75 inches, allowing you to squeeze into most backpacks, briefcases, and luggage. It has an adjustable bumper that can be moved in three places, allowing you to find the most comfortable position for your laptop, regardless of size, while integrated cutouts on the side provide a comfortable carrying handle while doubling as areas to pass through cables.

Construction is furniture-grade maple plywood with a hardened tough finish and a scratch-resistant work top. It comes in a selection of seven finishes.

A Kickstarter campaign is currently running for the AdapDesk. You can reserve one of the foldable units for pledges starting at $145.
