Installing a security camera outside your house is a great way to monitor what’s going on right in front of your house. Problem is, it requires proper installation, requiring you mount it somewhere out front and run some wires to keep it powered. It’s easy if you’re handy around the house, but quite a messy undertaking if you’re not exactly the DIY sort. The Anker Eufy Window Camera E10 offers an easier alternative.
Like other outdoor security cameras, it’s designed to watch the front of the house, allowing you to keep tabs on who’s messing with the secure drop box you’ve parked right outside for any arriving packages. Unlike them, it installs inside the house with no tools, making the whole process a whole lot easier.

The Anker Eufy Window Camera E10 is an outdoor security cam. Except, instead of installing outdoors, it’s designed to mount on the interior side of one of your windows. It doesn’t require dealing with any tools or hardware, either, since it attaches to the window by simply snapping onto a magnetic sticker, making it easy to take on and off. According to the outfit, the sticker won’t leave any residue, either, so you can remove it at any time without leaving ugly marks on the glass. Once mounted to the window, you simply run a power cable to a nearby wall outlet to ensure 24/7 operation and you’re set.
The camera can capture footage in 2.5K resolution with an F/1.0 lens and a 125-degree field of view, so you can see a wide patch of the scene right outside the window. It continues surveilling through the night, as well, which is reinforced by the outfit’s MaxColor Vision technology for sharper colors and cleaner overall footage, with a maximum night vision range of 10 meters. While the camera is designed to minimize glare with its zero-gap mount, the outfit says thicker windows made from double- or triple-pane glass could crate a slight glare edge, which can be reduced by installing the included anti-reflection stickers.

The Anker Eufy Window Camera E10 comes with an SD card slot that supports storage cards up to 256GB. All recorded video is locally stored into the card, with the system handling management of the recorded footage, all of which you can access from the companion app. It also has a locally-based AI system that can detect people and motion, with customizable security zones to minimize false positives. All those, along with smart alerts, are available right out of the box, with no need for monthly subscriptions.

Can it record audio from outside? According to the outfit, it can pick up ambient sounds and louder noises, although fainter outdoor sounds probably won’t make it throughout. While it supports two way talk, that’s strictly for use by people inside the house. Other features include a 25-degree adjustable tilt which you control using a dial in the back, AI assistant compatibility (Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant), dual-band Wi-Fi, and compatibility with the outfit’s HomeBase smart security hubs, which can give it even more local storage (if you install a compatible 2.5-inch SATA drive).
The Anker Eufy Window Camera E10 is available now, priced at $79.99.
