Arcade1Up Infinity Game Table Is A Giant Tablet For All Your Tabletop Gaming Needs

We’re big fans of Arcade1Up’s arcade cabinets, which allow you to bring licensed versions of arcade classics into your game room at home. It’s a great way to experience some of the greatest games from the golden era of button mashing. This time around, the outfit is turning their attention to classic board games in the form of the Arcade1Up Infinity Game Table.

A giant tablet for playing digital versions of tabletop games, it gives you a table-height surface that you can gather around in for playing Monopoly, Game of Life, or any of the 50-plus games it has pre-installed.  Everything is digitized here, by the way, from the dice and tokens to the cards and tiles, eliminating the need to fill up an entire shelf with boxes upon boxes in order to have a selection of board games within easy reach at all times.

The Arcade1Up Infinity Game Table is designed for one to six players, so you can play on your own against the AI, as well as gather around it for game night with family and friends. It comes digital versions of popular board games like Monopoly, Game of Life, Trivial Pursuit, Chutes and Ladders, and a whole lot more, along with enduring tabletop classics, such as chess, checkers, and a variety of card games. There a few standard video game fare, too, like billiards, golf, and bowling, as well as coloring books and puzzles, although the primary selling point remains the fact that you can use this to play board games without having to deal with the mess of accessories it usually includes.

It has built-in Wi-Fi, complete with online multiplayer, so you can play Battleship, Scrabble, and whatever else you want with other Infinity Game Table users all over the world. According to the outfit, they also have plenty of tabletop game titles on the pipe, including plenty of licensed board games, so this could prove to be a much more cost-efficient hobby for folks who enjoy having a variety of board games for party nights at home.

The Arcade1Up Infinity Game Table comes in two screen sizes: 24 inches and 32 inches, both of which come with a 16:9 aspect ratio, a 60Hz refresh rate, and 1080p resolution. Both come with detachable legs, so you can take the giant tablet out and put it on the bed if you want to bring the game to your bedroom, as well as put it on the dining table if you’d rather play within a few steps of the fridge. Yes, playing next to the fridge is always a good idea, especially since this is water-resistant enough to shrug off spills.

According to the outfit, the digital version of the games are filled with 3D animation and graphics, so these are way more interesting visually than just a standard digital board. It boasts haptic feedback, so there’s some amount of interaction with the elements onscreen, along with dynamic zoom viewing that creates a personalized perspective for each player. Granted, we’re not sure how that one works but it’s definitely welcome.

A Kickstarter campaign is currently running for the Arcade1Up Infinity Game Table. You can reserve a unit for pledges starting at $499.
