Burton F-Stop Pack: A Backpack For All Your Photography Gear

Pro photographers need a special bag to haul around all that photography gear.  And the F-Stop Pack definitely fits that special bill.

Created by snowboarding specialists Burton, the backpack offers provisions for fitting in both photography and snowboarding gear — just in case you’d rather take a snowboard than a tripod for the day.  It was developed and tested with input from the company’s team of pro snowboard photographers (such as Blotto, Jeff Curtes and Chris Own), so it’s got proven mileage in the field, too.

The Burton F-Stop Pack borrows some features from the company’s range of snowboarding bags, like an external shovel blade pocket and a vertical board carry (that you can use, alternately, to hold your tripod).  Inside, you get customizable padded compartments for bodies, lenses and other photography stash, as well as a removable storage pocket for small items (like film, cord and batteries), a side-access cooler pocket and dual side panel light stem storage.

Made from 420D high-density nylon, the bag measures 25.5 x 12 x 7.5 inches, giving you plenty of space to throw in all your gear.  Other features include a load-balance waist harness and a vertically-adjustable shoulder harness.

Lens jockeys of the world can order the Burton F-Stop Pack now, priced at $225.
