Never been a fan of kick scooters, even electric ones, for everyday commute. I mean, they’re bigger than a skateboard and not quite as comfortable to ride as a bicycle. However, it’s different strokes for different folks and if you feel differently about these wheeled machines, we’re guessing you’ll find plenty to love in the Immotor Go.

An electric kick scooter, it lets you ply city roads and sidewalks at speeds of up to 20 mph, so you can to your destination pretty fast. Whether you’re riding it to the train station, to the parking lot, or straight to the office, this thing should get you there at the same pace as most electric bicycles, minus the inconvenient bulk.

Designed for ease of use, the Immotor Go has three wheels, active suspension, and a convenient handle to grab onto, ensuring there’s no learning curve as the ride can balance itself all on its own. Those handles are height-adjustable, too, so it should support tall people, short people, and everyone else in between, with an anti-slip footboard further preventing any potential riding mishaps. It comes with swappable batteries that can keep it running for up to 20 miles on a single charge, all while doubling as power bank for charging laptops and mobile gadgets.

When folded, it measures just 9.4 x 12.4 x 31.5 inches, allowing you to conveniently carry it inside trains and cars, as well as stow under the desk at work. Features include anti-flat wheels, headlights, brake lights, built-in GPS (so the app can record your rides), integrated speaker (just in case you need entertainment), and two motor options (250-watt and 350-watt).

An Indiegogo campaign is currently running for Immotor Go. Pledges to reserve a unit starts at $399.
