YETI Hopper Two Soft Cooler Brings Better Ice Retention, Wider Opening And Tougher Build

We’re big fans of the YETI Hopper, which gets you a functional high-performance cooler in a shoulder bag form factor. Truth be told, there’s not much about it we find wanting for improvements. The YETI Hopper Two updates the ice-retaining bag anyway, turning out a new version that improves its predecessor on several fronts.

Designed to hold ice even longer, the bag combines improved insulation with the same tapered shape as the original making it comfortable to carry for extended periods. Whether you’re hauling the bag to the backcountry for camping, a tailgate party at the stadium parking lot, or a day out in the water, this thing should handle as conveniently as any similarly-sized bag.

The YETI Hopper Two has a body cut in Dryhide material, rendering it waterproof, puncture-resistant, mildew-resistant, and impervious to UV rays, with a lining decked in FDA-approved, food-grade material. An extended zipper provides it a larger opening, so you can load and unload items in the bag with ease, with a closed cell rubber foam insulation allowing it to hold ice for several days – something few soft coolers can actually accomplish.

Features include dual carry handles, a shoulder strap with a padded section for carrying comfortably, and MOLLE loops for mounting compatible accessories. It comes in three sizes (20, 30, and 40) and two colors (fog gray and field tan).

Slated for availability in March, the YET Hopper Two is priced starting at $299.99.
