Created by Phillips Distilling, the drink combines the colorless alcoholic spirit with “a bold blast of spicy flavors” designed to “add a kick” to any cocktail. And by kick, of course, they mean that burning sensation on the tongue that you get after pouring a little too much hot sauce on whatever you’re having for dinner. Hopefully, the kick that compels you to run to the bathroom didn’t come along, but we’ll probably live with it either way (keeping fingers crossed).
While it’s not the first pepper vodka to hit the market, the UV Sriracha Vodka sets itself apart with a unique flavor that authentically recreates the popular hot sauce brand’s taste, delivering “the right balance of spice, tang and sweetness.” It uses a blend of chili peppers (both red and green), vinegar, and garlic to produce a savory flavor that Phillips Distilling claims will hit you with the pepper taste right out front without turning into destructive levels of heat.
