Crazy Basketball Shot From Moving Amusement Park Ride
Check the video after the jump (click on the post link above) as the perfect shot is achieved after 25 tries. I know it would have been even cooler if they only had 1 shot to make it and that was it but none the less its still pretty cool.
Oil Spill Destroys Websites Specially The Ones You Love
There is nothing cool about the BP oil spill. The effect of this nasty disaster is going to be felt by generations to come. Every time when I pick up some cool new gadget, I am amazed by how far mankind has come and amazing things that are being invented. But then we have an oil leak at the bottom of the ocean that is gushing millions of gallons of this nasty liquid into the ocean and no one seems to know what to do about it.
We can all sit here and cringe at what’s going on, but we can never even come close to feeling the real pain that people who are being directly effected by this disaster must be experiencing. Here is a virtual way to see what happens to your business, house or in this case your favorite web site when oil spill takes it over.

Landon Donovan’s Goal And The Aftermath
Landon Donovan’s goal against Algeria seems like a Hollywood storyline and I won’t be surprised if a movie comes of this.
This is an amazing compilation of various videos submitted on YouTube to the reactions this goal generated. I think what makes this goal even amazing is the initial heartbreak as everyone thought goalie stopped the ball but whats amazing was that Donovan never stopped running and kicked it in after the goalie deflected the ball. Video is after the jump.

Coney Island Line Of Furniture Uses Wood From Demolished Boardwalk
Coney Island may no longer be the center of amusement attractions it once was. Regardless, it holds a special place in many of New Yorker’s hearts (including myself) and furniture company Uhuru is paying tribute by unveiling their Coney Island Line, a series of limited edition pieces inspired by the historic Brooklyn spot.
More than adopting the former resort as basis for the design of the pieces, the company decided to use actual Ipe wood that’s been reclaimed from the area’s demolished boardwalk. Yep, the exact same floors first installed in the late 1940s and served countless guests for over 70 years.
The Coney Island Line consists of six furniture items that interpret the architecture of the area, namely:
Cyclone Lounger. Inspired by the Cyclone rollercoaster, it boasts a form that actually looks like it was taken from one of the oldest wooden coasters still in operation. The base [...]
Yes, You Can Now Order A Martin Jetpack And Fly It Soon
If you told me fifteen years ago that we still won’t have widely available jetpacks in 2010, I would have cried and then kicked you in the head. Its like telling a little kid that Santa lost his pilot’s license and can’t deliver gifts anymore. . Of course, we’d have jetpacks at WalMart in 2010! Are you crazy?
Fast forward to the second decade of the 21st century and we still don’t have the personal flight system that sci-fi dreams are made of at WalMart. But, at least, we’re coming close with the Martin Jetpack, who are now accepting reservations for the first 500 they’re producing in the coming twelve months.
We first featured this commercial-bound jetpack last year, when they announced that the technology is about to be ready before the end of 2009. Well, it took a little while longer than that. After nine prototypes, [...]
Woof…Woof…Woofer: The Hi-FiDo Speaker
Like dogs, but don’t appreciate them damn sharp teeth? The Hi-FiDo speaker is a sexy, little puppy that’s all bark and no bite, woof…woof…woofing your favorite songs from its unusually-distinctive canine shell.
The entire body is built out of ceramic, which creator Matteo Cibic claims has acoustic properties that the system uses “to diffuse the high-quality sound with a bass reflex system.” Whatever that means, the thing should sound slightly on the high end, which is good.
Hi-FiDo is a 150-watt speaker clad in an all-white, 40 x 30 x 25 cm ceramic frame that looks like a toy dog with four short legs, a cute little tail and a giant mouth. Sound pipes through that large gorge of a head, pumping out presumably excellent-sounding music from your favorite audio source (it can connect to your iPods and other media players via auxiliary cable).
Speakers rarely get me excited, but a 150W doggy [...]
Live Coverage Of Funniest, Coolest, Lamest, Baddest, Most Exciting Commercials Of Super Bowl 44
Well, here is a live coverage of most notable Super Bowl 44 commercials. Rated by a bunch of rowdy individuals (mostly Peyton Manning fans) watching the game, drinking some beer and thankful for Freedom Of Speech.
Doritos Dog Collar Ad – Dog wearing an anti bark collar shows up in a park near man eating bag of Doritos chips.
Man wants the dog to bark if it wants chips. Dog does one better and in a total Ninja Move puts the anti bark collar in the man’s neck.
Now the dog owns both the man and the pack of Doritos. Funny.
Coca Cola / Simpsons Commercial – Simpsons boss seems in financial trouble. Appu shows up with Coca Cola and all is well. Its like saying what can Brown do for you. Nothing funny, just a bit cute.
Snickers Commercial with Betty White. Very Funny.
Doritos Commercial #3 – Guy plays dead to get his last [...]
Slappy Cakes Lets You Make Your Own Breakfast – So Does my Wife
Love pancakes, but hate the crappy ones all the fastfoods, diners and restaurants serve? Put your frying pan where your mouth is at Slappy Cakes, a restaurant where you make your own damn flapjacks before you eat it.
Yep, it’s like one of those Asian Shabu-Shabu affairs where you’ve got cooking equipment set in the middle of the table. Instead of frying and stewing gear, though, you get a griddle within arm’s length, allowing you to fix up a pile of battercakes any way you see fit.
Restaurant patrons can choose from a variety of batter options, such as buttermilk, pumpkin, vegan and gluten-free. You order it from the waiters by the bottle ($1 for every 8 oz), along with the maple syrup and any additional ingredient you’d like to lace your pancakes with. There’s a good choice of items available for even more customizations, including chocolate, nuts and berries. Now, if [...]
Roddenberry Star Trek Wetsuits Will Help You Become The Dorkiest Dude On Water
I love surfing. I just do not know how else to put it. Land locked areas scare me. My vacations are always planned around areas with not just beaches but the ones where you can actually surf. There are enough of surfing related debates out there already. We are considered no good to society beach bums. Short boarders hate long boarders. Long boarders think short boarders can go f&$# themselves. On outside it looks very cool and mellow but surfers know that its a very selfish sport also. We all want all the waves to our selves. And did I mention every one else is a kook. But nothing else just compares to the feeling of gliding over a wave.
But never have surfing been compared to geek. That is until now.
Meet the Roddenberry Star Trek wetsuit, which turns the coolest surfer dude into the dorkiest Trekkie faster than you can [...]
